SALMON FISHING IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST
Captain Michael has lived his entire fishing life in the Pacific Northwest. He has hunted Salmon and Steelhead up and down the Columbia and Lewis Rivers. These northwest waters offer anglers some of the best salmon fishing opportunities in the world. The Columbia River is the gateway to many rivers that make up the spawning grounds for our rich salmon returns. The Lewis River, near the Woodland area just 30 minutes north of Portland, offers some of the best Salmon and Steelhead fishing opportunities in the area. The Lewis has four runs of Salmon and two runs of Steelhead, offering opportunities for anglers year-round with nearly six months of excellent fishing.
AWESOME SALMON FISHING
The Columbia River rambles through the heart of Washington State and then turns west towards the Oregon Coast. As the Largest River in the Pacific Northwest, the Columbia forms the border between Washington and Oregon. This incredible fishery can change with fluctuating water levels from the dams and has an array of pools and riffles. This changing river with the various climatic zones provides an excellent habitat for Salmon Races. Starting from Astoria and running through into Longview as it lets into the Lewis River, Reel Deal Fishing Adventures runs the most productive sections of Columbia and Lewis Rivers to provide some of the best salmon fishing opportunities for our clients.
